Clearloft is made by RVA Studio. The short version: nothing about your files ever leaves your Mac.

What Clearloft reads

To find what can be cleaned, Clearloft looks at file names, sizes and dates on your Mac, the git status of your projects, and basic hardware details (model, battery health, CPU, RAM and GPU load). Similar Photos compares images with Apple’s on-device Vision framework. All of this happens on your Mac and is never sent anywhere.

What Clearloft sends

Nothing about you, your Mac or your files. The one network request it makes is the update check: it downloads a small file listing the latest version from download.rvastudio.in, automatically only if you allowed that, or when you choose Check for Updates. Like any web request, it shows our server your IP address and the Clearloft version.

What Clearloft does not do

• No accounts or sign-up
• No analytics, advertising or tracking
• No selling or sharing of data — we do not collect it

Deleting files

Nothing is removed until you review it and press Clean. Your own files and apps are moved to the Trash, where Finder’s Put Back restores them until you empty the Trash.

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other servers.
